Candy's Cats

Sometimes it takes a village to save a cat's life. I was living in an apartment complex, eating scraps to survive. A nice lady let me come in and out of her apartment but she fell and went away, leaving me inside. I thought that was a safe place to have my three kittens, but then there wasn't any food until her son came along, opened the door and I ran outside to find food. But then, he went away, with my kittens inside, me outside - it was very scary. Another neighbor let me inside - and, I had two more kittens that I gave birth to the very next day! Fortunately for all of us, several good people in other rescue families brought my kittens and I to Candy's Cats.

I am shy initially, but very sweet and once I know who you are, I will rub on you, talk to you and share my story if you will listen.  I love to look out the window. I've been around other cats and if they are sweet, then I'm okay, otherwise, I will probably just stay away from them and hope they don't pick on me.

I've been exposed to a small furry animal that smells funny so I don't think it's a cat. I'm not sure what to make of it though.  I think they call it a dog.  If I had time to spend with her, I might be okay with her but with Christmas and all that, my foster mommy hasn't had time to properly introduce us, other than me sitting on her lap watching this dog eat my food.

I hope you will consider adopting me because my fur is soft and I'm very sweet and gentle.
