Who We Are

Candy's Cats, Inc. (CCI) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit Florida corporation whose goal is to make a determined effort within our community to educate our residents about the tragedy of "throwaway" kittens and cats. 

We are a loosely connected group of people from all walks of life who see a need and through whatever it is that makes us tick, we cannot walk away, but we must do what we can to help these kittens.  At any given time, 6 - 30 people foster anywhere from one to fifteen kittens.  Some of the kittens come to us very sick, or, orphaned and the foster moms and dads wake every 2-3 hours to feed or to check on the kittens, to medicate, to comfort them. 

For some, fostering is not possible so they come help out at the adoption center on the weekends.  Still, others have other abilities they bring to CCI.  Getting involved with any rescue organization means giving whatever time, be it 15 minutes a week or 24 hours a day, 7 days a week of your time - these kittens are not throwaways - and our volunteers give 100% of themselves to caring for these little lives, even if they grow into teen cats, or, with the adults we take in as well.
